The new S3 Sportback has received significant performance upgrades with an increased output of 17 kW and 20 Nm more torque. Sportier engine and transmission tuning, a new rear torque splitter and Dynamic Plus drive select mode combine with the legendary quattro all-wheel drive for exceptional driving dynamics.
Sportiness down the line.
S exterior design elements including S front and rear bumpers, a hexagonal frameless Singleframe grille with distinct L-shaped design elements, quad tailpipes and S badging underscores the dynamic character of the S3 Sportback.
A leading light.
The Matrix LED headlights with dynamic light sequencing and dynamic indicators provide precise, high-resolution illumination of the road. Redesigned elements in the headlight emphasise the sporty look while the selectable daytime running light signature – arranged in three rows on the upper edge of the housing – adds a high degree of personalisation.
Awaken the senses.
Sumptuous sport front seats with integrated headrests in fine Nappa leather upholstery, unique S appointments, SONOS 3D premium sound system and colour ambient lighting package pro featuring illuminated backlit fabric panels in the front doors deliver a truly sensory cabin experience.
Progressive and expressive.
The S3 Sportback is available with a choice of exterior finishes that impressively showcase the design language including the newly available District green, Progressive red and Ascari blue. For the first time, Daytona grey is also available in a striking matt finish (shown)¹.
A new dynamic.
Available for the first time in the S3 Sportback, torque splitter technology enables fully variable torque distribution between the rear wheels. By optimally distributing torque between the rear wheel on the inside and outside of the curve, it delivers increased agility and stability.
Select your drive.
Offering a wide range of driving experiences from comfort to dynamic, the Audi drive select function on the S3 Sportback introduces the new Dynamic Plus mode which activates a specific engine and transmission tune and increases traction to the rear for a highly dynamic and emotive driving experience.
Unmistakably S.
The front of the new Audi S3 Sportback stands out with L-shaped inlays in the Audi Singleframe. Large air inlets with accents in light liquid chrome point to the powerful engine. Two vertical struts in the front spoiler pay homage to Audi motorsport design.
Strong side.
From its profile, the continuous shoulder line extends to the rear door to emphasise the length as well as the sporty, elegant silhouette of the new Audi S3 Sportback. Exterior mirror housings in matt aluminium look (or black with the optional Black exterior styling package plus) and side sill trims create additional sporty accents.
Leaves an impression behind.
The wide diffuser, vertical reflectors as well as other sporty design elements make the new Audi S3 Sportback appear even wider and more self-confident from behind. The characteristic quad tailpipes and rear spoiler enhance the dynamic appearance.
Rolling statement.
There are two wheel designs to choose from for the Audi S3 Sportback including the new 19-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels in multi-spoke S design, available as standard. Red painted brake callipers with S logo reinforce the sporty look.

Sport front seats with integrated headrests in fine Nappa leather upholstery with S embossing and diamond contrast stitching await you inside. The multifunction steering wheel with perforated leather and contrast stitching, shift paddles and S logo along with the new Dinamica microfibre inlay add to the sporty overall impression.
A display of intelligence.
With the fully digital and customisable 12.3” Audi virtual cockpit plus, drivers can access a host of purposeful information in their field of view, which include “dynamic”, “sport” and unique “S performance” display options.
Feel at home.
The new colour ambient lighting package pro compliments the lighting accents on the doors, centre console and footwell with a new multi-segment illuminated fabric panel in the front doors that creates a dynamic flow of light. Choose from 30 colours and even design your own personal colour profile.
Intensive sound experience.
The Audi S3 Sportback is equipped with the SONOS 3D premium sound system. 15 high-performance loudspeakers including subwoofer turn music into an unforgettable experience. The brilliant reproduction of high and low tones together with the rich bass can be experienced in their entirety.
