Suzuki News – June 2018
All-New Jimny revealed
The new Jimny has been revealed on Suzuki’s global website, with a full launch due in July.
The new Jimny carries the heritage of a small, lightwreight, authentic of-roader, and has been a masterpiece of Suzuki 4WD technology since the birth of its first model in 1970.
We don’t yet have confirmation of specs, but it has been confirmed that the the Jimny will be built on a ladder frame chassis with three-link rigid axle suspension and a part-time 4WD system with a low-range transfer gear.
The interior image shows the 7-inch touchscreen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, along with a range of other technological updates from the previous model.
Michael Pachota, GM of Suzuki Australia is still unable to confirm whether the new Jimny will be available for the Australian market, but we’re certainly hopeful that it will be the case.
